The Story
Phil and Amanda are adventurous, trustworthy and faith filled people who have always had a heart to serve. They have been a part of their local church for over 20 years with church life focus being ‘the gospel to everyone, everywhere’. They have raised their 4 children with a missions focused faith.
Whilst visiting Arnhem land in 2018, they expressed their interest in working with the MAF programme. Fast forward to 2021 a God given opportunity arose working for MAF, the Douglas family felt the call to respond with a resounding yes!
Phil and Amanda along with their four children, Lincoln, Ella-Grace, Millie and Jasper will head to Arnhem land to help with the work of MAF and be a blessing to the community. Phil will work as a facilities manager and Amanda will join the local hospital as a registered nurse.
They believe this is a call of God on their life to help fill the need currently in Arnhem land.
Please pray for the family that they will adjust to their new community and make God appointed friendships. Pray that they will all grow in their relationship with God and see that nothing is impossible with God.
